I realize it has been too long between posts and for that I am sorry. I was waiting to go to the doctor so felt like I would have something to talk about. Then I've just been super exhausted and I don't want to look at a computer when I get home from work. Anyway, I feel like everything has been going well since the last update, other than the normal "fun" pregnancy junk (Yucky food, getting sick, Multiple trips to the bathroom).

February held some fun and not so fun weekends. Ashley, Claire and Owen came down on the 10th. They are always a delight to have around the house, even when Claire comes in my room at 6:30 in the morning and says "UP" and starts pulling blankets off me. Stewie likes it when they come to town so he can chew up their toys.
This was definitely a jam packed visit. They arrived Friday around noon, so we headed to O'Charley's for lunch, then Gigi's for cupcakes. After that we did a couple of laps around Target.
On Saturday we hit Cool Springs Galleria (Gymboree, of course). Since Ashley likes to take a long time in that store the kids and I took a couple laps around the upstairs. It didn't take them long to fall asleep. Then we had a little lunch and headed to Downtown Franklin for some Sweet CeCe's. Claire is little miss independent and DID NOT want to ride in the stroller so I let her walk with me. As soon as we board the elevator in the parking garage Claire hits the "Emergency" button that calls the Franklin Fire Dept. Whoops! Finally an operator comes on and we let her know everything was OK! That was scary! (NOTE to Parents: There are really low buttons in elevators for people with real emergencies, Don't let your kids touch them)
After we had a fill of yummy frozen yogurt, we did a little more shopping, then met Uncle Jef at Genghi's Grill for dinner.
Owen wasn't really impressed with shopping for his sister's clothes.

Claire must have had too much sugar. She was such a silly girl when we got home.

The next week was the "not so fun" part of the month. On the 14th, my mother-in-law, Etta, lost her husband of 14.5 years. It was really hard for Jef to be so far away during such a crucial time. We decided to make the 9 hour trek out to Arkansas over the weekend. I'm rarely excited about being in the car that long and I really wasn't sure what to expect with my stomach/appetite/ gag reflexes. The drive out was a little gloomy, but uneventful. On Saturday, Jef's brother, wife and 3 kiddos made their 2 hour journey out to Lead Hill. It was so nice to have everyone together. The sun was shining and the air was fresh!! I ended up hanging outside with Wesley (5) & Josslyn (2) while Michael & Jef did projects around the house. Wesley made "Rock Chicken" in the wheel barrel for us for dinner. (You had to be there).

That basically catches us up. I had a doctor's appt last week. It was a quick visit, BUT I did get to hear the heartbeat and recorded it on my phone for Jef to hear. I haven't figured out how to post the audio file to the blog. If you would really like to hear the heartbeat we can email it to you. Just ask.

Also, the ticker up at the top is off by a couple of days. Today makes 13 weeks and 6 days. About 4 more weeks until we are able to find out the anticipated B or G?
